Rodrigo Castañeda Nordmann is the Founder and Chairman of ASTRALI, integrating legal expertise with institutional strategy to navigate the complexities of the mining industry.
An attorney specialized in Environmental Management, Rodrigo has served as advisor to the Mining Secretariat of Salta and has held executive and presidential roles across multiple mining, lithium and investment companies in Argentina, including LSC Lithium, Lithea Inc., Southern Eagle Mining Argentina, EGEO SA and Ekeko SA.
Since 2011, he has led ASTRALI’s strategic positioning across the high-altitude Andean regions, specializing in the technical de-risking of mineral assets and the articulation of interjurisdictional regulatory frameworks.
His background as co-author of foundational mining literature in Salta reinforces his position as a recognized authority in Argentina’s lithium and mining development sector.
